Let your Experiential Agency manage Social for your XM activations

Historically, experiential marketers have been pigeonholed by clients to think about the in-person experience, tending to overlook the social aspect of the live experience. This mainly happens when brands have another team either, in-house or outsourced, to focus on their social strategy/execution. What clients are now seeing is there’s a HUGE added benefit and a significant increase in event ROI that comes from amplifying in-person XM activations socially.

Our recommendation is to make sure live and near live social amplification is part of every experiential marketing program. Ideally, let your XM agency (if they are capable of it) lead or provide input into the social planning process as they know the program inside out.

At The Canadian International AutoShow, we have been posting content (live and near live) at one of our client booths. Our client gave us the keys and we developed the plan together. This is the first time in 3 years of activating there. For one of our Facebook Live broadcasts, we received 8000 video views, 26.5k impressions, 200 + engagements and 300 clicks to our website. The response has been great and the process with client has been perfect.
